• Second phase of digital financial literacy campaign from May

    NEW DELHI: Volunteering educational institutions will be asked to adopt neighbouring areas to convert them to use digital payment system in the second phase of Digital Financial Literacy Campaign of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The programme will be rolled out from May to June 2017. In the first phase 4.3 lakh student volunteers from over 4,500 institutions have converted 19.33 lakh citizens and 1.22 lakh shops to use digital payment mode. So far 2,363 campuses have gone completely cashless since the start of the campaign from December 2016 to February 2017, which includes all the Indian Institutes of technology.

    The result of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in November 2016 and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in December 2016 are likely to be declared on Tuesday, the 17th January around 2.00 PM, said a notification posted in the official website of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The merit list (candidates securing a minimum of 55% and above marks and up to the maximum of 50th Rank in the case of Final Examination in accordance with the decision of the Examination Committee) on all India basis will be available on the following website:
